Description:

Established in 1994 in a small clearing in the woods, Left Field Farm has evolved into a diverse enterprise that grows and sells hundreds of varieties of certified organic ornamental and vegetable plants in our greenhouses and a large selection of certified organic vegetables in our market garden. In both our greenhouses and market garden we grow heirloom and open pollinated varieties in addition to hybrid selections. We aim to provide our customers with plants that will thrive and flourish in their gardens. All of our plants are raised from seed on the farm and our greenhouse plants are potted in biodegradable containers. Plants may be purchase right here on the farm or at a number of garden centers and retailers in the Berkshires and in the Northampton area.

Our small market garden is abundant, fertile and productive. We have built a soil rich in organic matter in our market garden by adding a yearly application of farm made compost on each raised bed. We strive to provide our customers with tasty, nutritious and beautiful food. Our produce can be purchased at the farm or through stores in central and southern Berkshire County.

We welcome visitors to the farm!
